HaPpY HaLlOwEeN!!!

HAPPY HALLOWEEN EVERYONE! I hope every one has a wonderful and festive.. and safe Halloween! Tonight, dall and I and my brother and his wife are going to our cousins Halloween Party in Eagle Mountain. They dont know we are coming yet so it should be fun! Then we are either going to a haunted house or watching an old scary movie at my parents house. We are also sleeping over tonight due to our early girls day we are having with all the sisters tomorrow. I am quite excited!!! I am dressing up to be a baby... how quaint since i want one so bad! And Dall is going to be this scary Goth guy. Thats what he was last year and he didnt want to find a costume. The nerve, some people just CANT get into Halloween. So i will post pictures of our eventful night tomorrow. Happy Haunting!

Yay!!!

Well it is a very exciting week for me and Dallas because... we paid off my car on Monday!! It really is the best feeling! Now we are just working on getting Dallas' car paid off. Hopefully we will be able to do have it payed off this time next year! We have just been having these feelings to get out of debt asap!! So that is what we are going to do! Yay for paying off debts!

What Angie's been up to..

So i have been entertaining myself well these days. I have been busy making picture frames and we headed down to Antimony this weekend for the 1 year anniversary of my grandma's death. My grandpa wanted as many of the family down there for this weekend. Not everyone could come so the ones that werent there were greatly missed. My grandpa spoke in church and gave a great talk about Love. He talked about my grandma and some lessons he learned through his life experiences. He is one of the greatest men i know and i feel so lucky to have him as my grandpa. I love him so much!! On top of the great meeting, we hepled clean up the yard a bit. Dallas helped cut down tree limbs and almost fell out of the tree. We also had a wedding reception to go to, babies to snuggle with and we did a lot of laughing. There was also a great vollyball tourny and most of us were badly bruised. I feel blessed to be a part of my awesome family! Here are some photos of the current events.

This is my grandma's beautiful gravesite. My grandpa hand picked each rock for it and made it look like a dry stream bed because my grandma loved beautiful rocks. How sweet is that!



And what would a trip to Antimony be without my father. He was a little hyper. I love that Man!!

My new creation...

So, a couple of weeks ago, my mom and i went to this cute children/baby store on 9th and 9th and we saw these cute picture frames with stripes and polka-dots and cute bows. I wanted to get one but then my mom said that we could make them and it would be easy too. So, we went to one of our favorite stores, Roberts, bought plain wood picture frames and cute paint colors to create our cute picture frames. My mom was making one for my sisters baby's nursery. They were really easy and fun to make. I am not crafty at all so i must say i am quite proud of myself. The one my mom made is black with pink polka-dots and a pink bow. I will NOT stop there. If anyone wants one, i will make one for ya!

Busy but Great Weekend..

Well, this weekend was crazy busy, but wonderful. It started out with a Doctors visit.. the one that women arent too excited for. Then Friday night, my sister Marni who was almost nine months prego said she was having back pains. She was concerned because she thought she might be going into labor. They live an hour away from the hospital the are delivering at so she packed her bags just in case. Sure enough, she was having contractions every couple minutes. Well, she had the her baby girl at 5:00 am Saturday morning so neither her or Landon got much sleep. They named her Avery Francis Reid. She is so beautiful and healthy and as Marni has said "ALL HERS!!" It is so exciting to have a baby in the family again. And probably soon, my oldest sister will be adopting. It's just so exciting. And i'm only just extremely baby hungry! I LOVE my family!

On Saturday night, we hung out with our good friends Kristen and Brandon. It has been a while since we did a fun date night with them and it was long overdue. We met up at Zuppas for some good sandwhiches/ soup/ salad. Then we went to Boondocks and did the mini golf thing.. which was great. I actually didnt do that bad like I always do at that particular activity. Then we went to coldstone for Icecream. You always have to end a date with good ice cream. Well, at least me and Kristen thought so. The boys didnt partake. But the best part of the night was the great conversation. We could talk to them for hours. They are so funny and wise. Thanks Kris and Brandon for a great night!! Love you!

And last but not least... Sunday, me and dall and my parents went to my cousins Erin and Dans ward in Spanish Fork for their baby boy Lucas' blessing day. It was such a great meeting. The blessing itself was so special. There is seriously nothing more special than knowing that you are going to be sealed to your husband and your precious babies for eternity. I am so grateful for my faith and for my family that i will be together with forever!! I hope i will NEVER take that for granted!

So it is the last and dreadful day of August. Which means summer is really coming to a close. If anyone knows me at all... they would know that I am always sad to see summer leave. I love autumn, and I even love winter.. up till Christmas that is. After that, I just get really deperesed. I mean with all that cold, windy, snowey weather... it just kind of wears on you. I am the most happy in the summer time and i am sad to say goodbye. So any warm day i get from here on out.. i will be making the best of every second of it. Such a somber moment!!!

Goodbye days where the best way to spend a summer day would be drinking Lemonade outside in the sun. I'll miss you very much!

On another note.. look how good a baby looks in Dallas's arms!!! Dallas is holding baby Lucas, my cousin Erins baby. He is so cute! I'm only making a big deal about this picture because a. I am extremely baby hungry and b. Dallas thinks babies are too fragile for him to hold. He is affraid he will break them. So I LOVE this picture... and dallas is a natural!

ODE to Rachel!!!

So many things have happened since i last wrote. I'll spare you from the Breaking Dawn obsession. Oh where to begin... Well I did try out for AI at the end of July. Me, my cousin Dave, my mom and my aunt Debbie all went. We got up at 3:30 in the morning to be down at the ESA at 5:00am to stand in line... for 3 hours. We did a lot of waiting and then they cattle called us down to the floor so we could try out in groups of 4. So the guy that was judging me asked me to sing 4 songs. Then he said he was letting me go because i had the "voice" just not the stage presence. What the??? I guess i just didnt understand. If they wanted me to perform to my fullest, they should have asked. I was just doing what they asked me to do. But oh well. I know now that AI is just not for me. At least i can say i did it. Then the day after, me and dallas where invited to go to Lake Powell with our good friends family, the Johnsons. Derek and Nicole are our friends and it was so fun! We stayed for 4 days and just had a blast. I actually got up on the knee board and i did a little surfing off the back of the boat. That is HUGE for me. It really was the funnest thing we have done all summer. We love them and are glad they asked us to go with them. Here are some pics. Enjoy!

So on a more sad note... my best friend in the whole world left yesterday for North Carolina for 4 years. Her husband Josh is going to med school there. It was a hard day for me!! But it was even harder for Ali. The day she left was her little sister Michelle's wedding day. Ali got to go to the temple but she had to leave after pictures were taken there. I was lucky enough to be invited. I feel close enough tp those girls that they could be my sisters!! I love the Hair Family! So i got to see Ali at the temple, then i just couldnt handle it any more. I just gave her my goodbye present, gave her two big hugs and just left. I started bawling all the way to my car! It was just an emotional day. So ALI.... I love you and I am so glad you are my best friend. You have been the greatest!! It's not good bye, it's See you at christmas... and I'll call you a few times every week!!!!

BREAKING DAWN!!!

Ok So this will not be much of a post, since most of the readers have probably read the book already and know what i am speaking of... but i just need to get it off my chest! The fourth book Breaking Dawn was AMAZING!!! I love this series so much. And it makes me that much more excited to see the first movie! I love every character that has been cast for the movie. I am just quite obsessed. Thanks for letting me share my happiness!!
