Miss South Jordan

So, last weekend was the Miss South Jordan Pageant. I must say that I am a little sad that it is over.

When my sister Marni and I were asked to be the new Director and Co-Director of the Miss South Jordan Pageant, we had no idea what we were getting into.

We were able to meet the eight best young women South Jordan has to offer. They are all so smart, poised and talented. Throughout the workshops that we held, we really got to see these girls shine.

Come pageant night, we were all so excited to see the girls do their best on the stage and we knew that whatever the outcome, these girls did their best and any one of them would represent our city wonderfully. Well, it turned out awesome to say the least. Malissa Richardson is our new Queen, Che Renouard is our First Attendant and Nelle Petersen is Second Attendant. All the girls did a great job!!! Now onto summer fun with Floats and Service Projects and Public Appearances. Oh, and time to start planning next years Pageant!!!

I have taken a ton of pictures in the last couple of months so I am just going to dump them all on here...

I was working and Daddy was babysitting for the day. Gabe just wanted his mommy all day long.

We spent a Saturday playing at the park.

Gabe LOVED thr Easter Egg Hunt at my parents house. He caught on quick and the other grandkids were happy to help him reach the eggs that were up high.

Now that it is getting a little warmer, Gabe loves spending every minute outside. He cries when we bring him in.

We spent Easter weekend down in Antimony visiting my Grandpa Burr. Gabe LOVES his Grandpa Burr.

I was so happy I got to see some type of animal being herded. In the past years when I have visited in spring, I have seen cute lambs, horses and cows. I LOVE Antimony for this reason as well.
