Day 2...

Day 2: What I Wore Today

I usually don't get dressed up like this on any old day.... yes, this is me dressing up. I worked today so I HAD to look a little better than normal. I am usually in comfy shorts and a shade working in my yard.
Today I wore some green Capri's and a cream shirt from DownEast. The Pink necklace is old and I have no idea where I got it. My shoes are from Forever Young. Dall picked them out himself.

The Month of May

Our month of May was quite nice.  The weather started to get nice, we played outside a LOT and of coarse I took a ton of pictures... so here are just a few that I Love.

One of the days we were outside enjoying the nice weather, Gabe decided to dig into the dirt and give it a little taste. This doesn't surprise me because yes, I ate dirt as a child. Luckily I outgrew it so I hope he does too.

One Friday night, we went to get sandwiches and some Fro Yo at Menchies... which has got to be the BEST Frozen Yogurt in South Jordan. It was so delicious.... and doesn't my boy look delicious too??? I think so.

What we got here is some morning hair and a sleepy grin.

Sleeping soundly in the car. This is where some of his best sleeping happens. He loves the bumpy ride.

We had little visitors too. Olivia and Boston and their mommies (my best friends) came to play. They will all be in the same school year and they WILL be best friends. They played so cute together. Olivia is so dainty, Gabe is very territorial over his toys and Boston has just learned to walk and is exploring his new territory. It was so fun to have all of them together and it was so great to see Ali and Kristen!!!

Looking at something pretty neat out the window.

Over Memorial Day, we took a little trip down to Southern Utah to visit Gramps Burr. The weather in Antimony was wonderful and sunny. I love this picture. It is so precious to me. They are just sitting back on the bench, enjoying the nice day.

Gramps doing his yard work.. and boy does it look good.

Next to Grandpa Kev, Gabes favorite person is uncle Na na. Nate was showing Gabe all the chickens.

I threw a baby shower for one of the girls at my work. It turned out really good. Shayla got lots of cute things for her baby girl. We are so excited for her to have this baby. She is naming her Chloe and the theme of the shower was Black and Pink so I made this Onsie banner to match.

And what's a baby shower without some cute Pom Poms.

I made these mini cheesecakes that were sooooo delicious. Thank goodness there were quite a bit left over cause I ate them all!!!

Miss South Jordan

So, last weekend was the Miss South Jordan Pageant. I must say that I am a little sad that it is over.
When my sister Marni and I were asked to be the new Director and Co-Director of the Miss South Jordan Pageant, we had no idea what we were getting into.
We were able to meet the eight best young women South Jordan has to offer. They are all so smart, poised and talented. Throughout the workshops that we held, we really got to see these girls shine.
Come pageant night, we were all so excited to see the girls do their best on the stage and we knew that whatever the outcome, these girls did their best and any one of them would represent our city wonderfully. Well, it turned out awesome to say the least. Malissa Richardson is our new Queen, Che Renouard is our First Attendant and Nelle Petersen is Second Attendant. All the girls did a great job!!! Now onto summer fun with Floats and Service Projects and Public Appearances. Oh, and time to start planning next years Pageant!!!

Our interview workshop with Kelly Chapman.

Another one of our workshops.

The final night!!!!!!!

Pictures Pictures Pictures...

I have taken a ton of pictures in the last couple of months so I am just going to dump them all on here...

I was working and Daddy was babysitting for the day. Gabe just wanted his mommy all day long.

We spent a Saturday playing at the park.

Gabe LOVED thr Easter Egg Hunt at my parents house. He caught on quick and the other grandkids were happy to help him reach the eggs that were up high.

My brother Nate and his BEAUTIFUL wife April!!! What a good looking pair.

Now that it is getting a little warmer, Gabe loves spending every minute outside. He cries when we bring him in.

We spent Easter weekend down in Antimony visiting my Grandpa Burr. Gabe LOVES his Grandpa Burr.

Gabe loves Grandpa Burr's Chicken too!!! Bock Bock.

I was so happy I got to see some type of animal being herded. In the past years when I have visited in spring, I have seen cute lambs, horses and cows. I LOVE Antimony for this reason as well.

Gabe just soaking in all the farm life.

Gabe is so excited for all his candy on Easter Morning. His favorite things were Suckers!!!

Before we left Antimony, we blew bubbles and the kids loved it!

Gabe and his favorite Uncle Na Na.

Just because I Love this picture.....

Swim Fun

We had an awesome play date today with Mollie and Aspen at the Herriman Rec Center Pool. Oh my goodness, Gabe was supposed to be a fish. He LOVED playing in the water. he couldn't get enough of it. He went down the slides and let the water bucket fall on him. The splashing of the water didn't bother him at all. In fact, it was the opposite. He did most of the splashing. He got a little smooching in with the two lovely ladies we came with. He loves the ladies. So, we will be doing a LOT of swimming this summer. Gabe would have it no other way. Aw.... my son is so cute!

Big 27...

Well, I am 27! 27!!! I can honestly say that I DO NOT feel 27. I feel more like 21. Oh where has the time gone. I did have a really great birthday though. Since my birthday was on a Sunday, Dallas and I celebrated on the Friday prior. He took me to the Melting Pot for dinner. I have never been there so it was a great surprise. It was quite delicious. My favorite part was the dessert, of coarse. Then Dall took me to see the movie Limitless with my parents. Good movie, wont see it again. I also got wonderful goodies from my family. It was a wonderful birthday. 27 of the 27th..... Golden!
